Funky Stuff going on after removing Smarty
Funky Stuff going on after removing Smarty
I recently decided I was going to sell my Smarty and try EFI. Finally got it sold and pulled it off on Saturday. Returned my truck to stock and loaded the Smarty on the other guys truck and everything worked fine. Well on the way home, I set my cruise and then when I went to hit my brake and slow down it wouldn't disengage, so I had to turn it off on the steering wheel. This may be unrelated to removing my Smarty, but I've never had this issue before until now. Second thing is, I went to start my truck after letting it sit since Sunday and it is completely dead. It has brand new Optima yellow tops that I put on in December so there should be nothing wrong with the batteries but something drained them in 48 hours. Again, may not be related to the Smarty at all but it's just weird to have these issues right after pulling the Smarty off when I haven't had any problems with the truck up until now. It's been set up the exact same way performance wise for over 3 years. Smarty S06, exhaust, intake, and ATS intake manifold and that's it. The Smarty hasn't been off my truck since I put it on over 3 years ago and I've never had any issues like this at all. Anyone have any ideas what's going on? Thanks.
Yup! That was the first thing I thought reading this. Might have bumped something when unloading the smarty and taking it off. Pushed a floor mat or something............
