Fuel Presure...what is the stock reading?

Did a fuel presure gauge on a 600 and found pressures to be rather low at idle....7-9 psi. We were able to drop the pressure all the way down to nothing with a hard blip on the throtle. 1. Is this normal stock fuel pressure? 2. Kinda seeing a pusher pump may be needed.

Truck has the TS Ramifier and injectors on it with EGT's still blazing....... I got it tapped on the pump from the line that runs to the bottom of the fuel filter housing. Thanks!

I would get the pusher if I were you. Main pump is lubricated by fuel provided by transfer pump. You may have just lowered the system pressure because of the high flow injectors, but I wouldn't chance it.

I will be installing a FASS on it tommrow. I just like the 17 psi worth of pressure....along with the 3/8" line.....and the air removing crap is OK too....haha.....

Rumor is that the '05's will be finally getting rid of the lift pump and will have a pump in the tank instead. You could wait until they are released and see if that system can be retrofitted to an 04.5...

That's normal stock pressure on the CR's at idle (~8psi). They usually drop to 4-5 at WOT stock, and with a small box (EZ, Ramifier, VA, etc) you'll get at or near zero.

There we go! That is the answer I was looking for! Thank you much! I feel that 17 psi of the FASS will be a vast improvment.
