Fuel Pressure warning light

Hello. I found this low fuel pressure warning light on ebay

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...MakeTrack=true

Looks like it would be cheap insurance against low pressure damage. Is this a good idea and are any of you running one? I'm going to buy one if it's any good.
Thanks,
Darrell

Says it comes on at 8psi, Dont the 3rd gens normally run about that pressure?
If you want an accurate reading, a gauge would be best.
If the light comes on are you really going to stop?
And does the 3rd gen. high pressure pump actually go out with loss of fuel?
