lift pump low pressure warning light
Does 2006 have a low pressure warning light in the instrument cluster for the lift pump ? Also i,ve heard the 3rd gen trucks don't have as many failures
as the 2nd did with lift pumps is that true? My son has a 06 with 72000mi on it and we are wondering if it might be getting time to be concerned ? He's running a Bully dog an pulls a 40' camper with it .

No warning light, so a guage is a good idea if you're worried about it.
2nd gens were more about the VP hi pressure pump. 03-04 had the lift pump issues and most were retro-fitted under warranty.
No reason to be concerned, see above.
