Fuel mileage update
I usually get 14.5 on the hiway (75mph), and about 13.5 to 14 in town.
I recently did a few trips from Phoenix to Tucson, and thought I'd try 65mph. That experiment returned 16.9mpg.
Did a trip to Los Angeles and back to Phoenix, drove with the cruise on, and 65mph the entire trip. Hand calculated, fuel to the top of the filler neck, etc., netted 17.4mpg. Tire pressure was set at 55psi all the way around. Truck now has 33,000 miles and is all stock.
Besides the increase in mileage, the 65mph trip was much more relaxing - not mixing it up with the traffic all the way to CA and back.
