Ok i have been haveing a tick in the motor for sometime i didnt really worry about. but today on the number 6 injector i think not for sure its the one closest to the front of truck i can feel a pulseing though the fuel line from the injector to the rail. i cant feel that pulse on any of the other lines. any body else have this or could some one go start thair ctd and feel the line to see if thay feel the pulse. Oil level is good no smell no smoke good power ect. only mods r the intake and 41 donaldson the quad box has been taken off only ran it for around 600 miles.

check the little blue holder that holds the injector line down they will work loose ever now and then I can feel a pulse in my lines some more than others

 

Closest to front is number 1 and it always has more of a pulse than the others. It has been discussed here quite a bit over the years.

Not unless someone finally decided we did. Mine is an 04 305 motor, but I have checked that front line on a few 04-06 trucks because I was worried and they all did it. I have almost 80,000 on mine now so I think it is nothing.
