Fuel Filter Question? Help
i tried to find that out a while ago, before cummins changed their recommendations to 7 microns, but could never get an answer either. since the baldwins are 5 micron, and act as a water separator, and are pretty cheap, i don't know why anyone would bother using a wix or fram filter anyway.
Becuase they are for the most part getting what the autoparts dealer has on the shelf. You and most others like me plan out when they are going to change the oil and get everything they need well before the oil change.
I found Baldwin filters here. Not a bad price either.
