Talking Fuel Filter

I went to Autozone to see if they carried and what the price was on a Fuel Filter for my truck. Well it was $15.55 and to my suprise it was actually a Stratapore in one of their boxes. I know it was weird to take it out of the box and turn it over and see those letters Stratapore
Oh yeah the dealer wanted $35

That's good to know. Sure Geno's may be cheaper, but you cannot beat the convenience of Autozone when you're in a pinch. Mail is slow, and the dealer takes you to the cleaners.

Yes and also 4.95 S&H on that 11.95 filter, add in the wait time and that filter from Autozone starts to look a little bit better.

Sure, if you buy them 1 at a time. If i am saving $3.50 per filter, all i have to do is order 2 and i am ahead of the game Throw in my oil filters and....you see where i am goiung with this.

And as for speed, i just ordered some filters 2 weeks ago, and they were on my doorstep 2 days later

But it is good to know that autozone does have them. What is thier part #? is it the same as fleatguards??

Bensdad, i'm having trouble understading what you are trying to say bud. WHere can you order the case??

If anybody cares the fleetguard fs19579 is a 10 micron filter, I'm using Baldwin PF7564 (i think) it is a 3 micron filter and it is a glass media type filter

Has anybody ever use these ? Are they any good ? I just Got off the phone with Baldwin Filter tech support and they said it filters 3 Micron and has a capacity of 18.2 grams for about $12.00. I talked to fleetguard about filter FS19579 and theres filters 10 Microns of a capacity of 18 grams. Geno's sells them for 11.95+ shipping. Baldwin sounds like a better filter.

It's PF7654. If the Baldwin filter is 3 micron this could be the Holy Grail of filters.
I will try to find a online supplier.

Ginos 4/2/1 then what you need is sitting on the shelf when you need it.
Shipping and waiting not a big deal then.

Although somehow I seem to need a 4/3/1.5??
