Fuel Additives
Up here in Canada the best additives IMHO are 4-plus from DSG, and a Canola additive from MilliganBio tech. I use both but, either one is great. I have been using 4-plus for years with great results. I have basically switched to the canola additve, but still add a little 4-plus to deal with the water in the fuel.
More info on the 4-plus can be found here, http://www.farmersdiesel.com/4plus.html and the canola additive http://www.farmersdiesel.com/4plus.html
You can find a 4-plus dealer in Calgary here http://www.dieselservices.com/additive_dealers.cfm and you should be able to get the Canola additive at Bumper to Bumper.
These additves are a good value and really do work well
Hope this helps

You should also consider adding a few gallons of BioDiesel to your tank. Besides being good fuel, it adds quite a bit of lubricity. I notice a considerable bit of difference in idle noise with five gallons added to my tank. I take four 5 gallon jerry cans with me everytime I make it over to the Bio pump - that way I always have some good additive handy.
