Front Wheel Bearings Rebuild

Well, it looks like i'll be leaving my first born at the local Dodge dealer and picking up two new front bearing/hub assemblies. The prices i was told are nuts, and from what i hear, even the supply is an issue.

Does anyone know if these units can be rebuilt instead of paying the ridiculous dealer price?

Thanks,
JR.

They can not be rebuilt , but you can save a lot of money by not going to the dealer .
Post looking for a good independent shop in your area .
The labor may be close , but the parts should be less .

A buddy of mine is the counter guy at the local dealer. My cost is $394 CDN.
UAP Napa quoted me $506, and no stock. I do all my own repairs, so the labour is nil.

I don't think this will work as you may have the American axles, I just can't remember when Dodge made the switch. On E-Bay, I have axle bearing hubs listed, along with a bunch of other front end stuff. Good luck.

If you plan on keeping the truck, that really is the best way to go. I'm itching for mine to go out so I can make the switch.

These folks have the lowest price I have found, they are good people to deal with and ship to Canada.

I dealt with them and by no means were they "easy to deal with". I posted up about my experience with EB atmus so do a search if interested. I also bought one from parts plus auto for less money and Rick is a real nice guy and his # is 800 830 2885. Hope this helps.........

Sorry to hear that, I am local to this company and have been dealing with them for more than 25 years, although they are not perfect, neither am I, so I guess it works both ways.
