front and rear shocks

2 of my OEM shocks and steering stabilizer started to leak. I am looking at Ranching 5000 or Rancho 7000. I haul a travel trailor when loaded will be pushing 10000 lbs. I am looking for a smoother ride loaded and empty; the roads here aren't the best with the back roads being wash board. I can get 120$ back on these shocks. Has or does anyone have any info or know of anyone that used these? Just wanted maybe some sort of rating for these. Does anyone have another shock preferance?

Around here, Bilsteins seem to be the most popular choice. I installed them on my truck because I got them off Crag's List for dirt cheap.

I have used the Rancho 5000's on previous trucks. I thought it was fine. Nothing to write home about. But they provided a smooth controlled ride, and lasted a long time.

in my Offroading circles, Rancho shocks are relegated to the bottom of the barrel.

Bilstein or Fox seems to be the popular ones.

I put the Bilsteins on mine, when it came time.
