Front left side clunk??

Ok, ive been getting this clunk for the past 2 months now on the front left. However, I changed Upper/Lower Balljoints, U-Joints and new suspension over the summer and just the left front is becoming louder and louder. What could it be? Could be be the shocks?

That sounds like a sway bar end link. Go under and hit the link or bar with the side of your fist to duplicate the noise. Dodge sells them for about 80 bux each!

My clunk came from the sway bar bushings being worn. I had two different mechanics check the front end, and they both missed the sway bar bushings.. Saw a post on here about it, unbolted mine, and sure enough, the bushings were worn. Ordered new ones for about $25, installed, no more clunk!!!

May sound dumb but check your battery tie down wedge, maybe broken off or just loose.Your battery could be clunking around.

all good ideas.

My left front side noise came from the lower control arm. Jack up the left side and try and move the lower and upper control arm and see if they move...the oem bushings can give over time and are not serviceable.

If that's the culprit..which according to what you've said, I think it is, let me know

I've got 1 good lower control arm and 2 good uppers and I'll be in IL for about two more weeks.

I can also show you what happens to the bushings in one that's gone bad.

May sound silly but check your lug nuts, coming back from the dyno day last week at suncoast i had a clunk noise and could feel a thud through the floor board, got worse and worse. Turned out 7 out of 8 lug nuts were loose.

Sorry no pix, but just find the sway bar and at the end there is a connector to the axle about 5 inches long or so. One on each side of the truck at the ends of the sway bar. Tap the link and listen for the familiar clunk sound. On mine only one of them failed but I bought two before I realized it. The end near the axle is a small ball joint that gets dry and then rattles and clunks.
