front end bearings

front end bearings

I am having to replace the u joint and hub bearing on my truck at 53897 miles is thier any way to make these last any longer.

I use this truck as a truck it goes through water snow mud it pulls trailers stumps if a truck can do it mine dose and then some.

any help would be appericated

Yup,
Regardless of hub bearing brand, none of them will last much longer than others based on the unit bearing design. The idea is great for 1/2 ton gassers and smaller but because of the weight and use of our trucks they will all fail pretty quick. A Free Spin kit lets you install servicable bearings that are spaced farther apart to spread the load out more. The bearings are also replaceable with standrad off the shelf Dana 60 parts.

I've been greasing through the abs sensor.. Still on the originals at 140,000
