front brake pads

front brake pads

anyone changed out there front pads. whats the best pad for the truck. have sixty thousand miles on original set. getting close to a brake job. any info would be helpful thanks.

My personal recommendation would be to put the O.E. pads back on. IMO aftermarket pads suck now days.

Get the OE pads NOT the OE Value line. The OE's worked on mine after 4 different sets were put on and the rotors were turned for no reason. All the other pads SQUEELED real bad. The OE may cost more but the are worth the money IMO

I just put new OEM pads on mine and although they are expensive, I have had zero squeal! I read lots of posts about problems with cheaper pads and $100.00 for the good ones is worth not having problems......
Now, I just wish mine would have lasted 60,000 miles instead of 40,000..
