Torch axle joint out - seperate wheel bearing on a press
We recently replaced a axle joint on one of our 3500s at work & could not separate the wheel bearing using any of the above methods, so we torched the ujoint out & dropped the entire outer axle assembly off of the ball joints. We were then able to separate the bearing using a press.
This way we did not damage the wheel bearing.
