Question foamy front diff fluid

I finally got around to changing my diff fluids( 20.5K Miles). I had driven about 5 or 6 miles to the store before i changed the fluids. When i removed the front cover the fluid was really foamy. was a big surprise has anyone else seen this? I have changed diff fluids on lots of vehicles but have never seen this...

Mine was the same way @ 15K when I changed it.Both axles the same.I personaly think it's a poor fluid from the factory. I use Redline now. No more foam.

Overfilling will cause foam and that hurts the lubricating ability of the gear oil. Overfilled from the factory? Poor quality control.

I have changed out a lot of axles and I have noticed that the fluid from the factory usually comes out foamy, I had customers who wanted moper fluid and so I put it in, I will have to see if it too will be foamy. On the other hand I changed out other trucks and put Amsoil, Royal Purple, Red Line, and Mobil which none of them where foamy when changed out again. The mopar must have a different kind of additive to their fluid.
