I use the LF3894s on my '04. Have since I did the first oil change. I use a KD band type wrench and a long 3/8 extension. No access problem at all. Yeah, a buck price difference over 7500 miles isn't much, but, hey, it's the SAME filter & I don't use the flutes anyway. Better a buck in my pocket than someone else's. I change 'em from the bottom. I'm under there anyway doing things like removing oil pany drain plug, reinstalling oil pan drain plug. That sort of thing. I have no access problems at all. Don't know if the '04.5 and later trucks have more obstructed access or not. Never worked on one.

Well I,ve been running the 3894 now for 100k with no ill affects and oil samples always come back "all elements are acceptable....change oil and filter and resample at normal intervals" I guess thats good enough for me.
The price that I quoted was from an invoice from scheid that was dated Dec. 27. Thats all I have to go by.

Uh, yeah.

Might want to investigate that a little further.

You might want to reread posts # 29 and 30. What else can I say.

Is that the same as "might want to investigate alittle further". Unless there has been a price increase in the last 60 days I stand by my statement until proven otherwise.

you know...SEEING REALLY SHOULD BE ,BELIEVING

I gave you the links to show you Genos price is cheaper...BUT I was NOT HAPPY with their support team....

I ordered a case of filters that took 2 weeks to get here from GA...I could have carried them home in a wheel barrow faster...

I am a true D/A? Can someone, anyone compare this to the K&N oil filter I am running? I am sure the fleetguard is the way to go but free is good unless you get junk.

Anyone know if the Mopar MO285 is a stratopore? It looks identical to an
LF16035. Wal-Mart had them on sale a while back...
