First Start, Has Bad Lag
Happens after I let it sit all night, even plugged in (thought it would help). Starts good, no white smoke, doesn't shake abnormally, not even the scent of raw diesel (was standing near the exhaust once to check). I do how ever, get some soot on the rear bumper, which is leading me to a possible injector issue (slightly over fueling?). I ran BG injector cleaner, straight from the filter bowl, been running Stanadyne purple w/ a little blue. Mileage is decent (16-18). Recently replaced #3 and #4 injector connecting tubes, month ago the RP sensor and the FCA.
I don't have any active codes, or a CEL. I'm religious on draining the filter bowl, extremely religious on changing the filter every 6-8 thousand (PF7977).
It's kinda like limp mode, but once the turbo starts to spool it's good. I replaced #1 injector last fall, but never did the valve lash on the ex. rocker.
What the heck else can it be, oil pressure sender, water temp sender, injector, need to add a tiny bit of timing (got an adjustable CPS installed, set at stock currently).

I went through this with my '01 3500. Everything under the hood appeared dry. Turns out the fuel pressure switch I added for the idiot light (low fuel pressure warning for the VP44) was leaking air into the system over night. Eventually it began to weep a little fuel and was spotted as being bad.
It sounds like you have something else leaking air into the system, since you replaced the injector lines you described.
