First Oil Change

Looking at schedule A and B it appears that the first oil change is at 7,500 or 15,000 miles. Is that correct for the first change?

many people swear by the 500,1000, then every 3000 mile oil changes but 7500 is perfectly fine. i did my first at 7500 and now i plan to around 9 between changes. in the winter i go about 6 because i tow, but in the summer i do no towing

15k if you dont tow and just drive on the highway
7500 if you tow medium loads
3000 is a good change if you tow heavy often

Im with T-7. I do my oil and filter every 5k. I also do my fuel filter at 10k and my tranny, transfer case and differential fluids every 15k.

I did my first 3 changes at 5,000. Did my difs, tranny, fuel, air all on the 15,000 change. Then I went to 7,500 and do the difs, fuel, air every other oil change. Keeps the numbers easy for a simple mind.
