I know it is hard to do!!!!! But try a road trip at 55 mpg turning 16-1800 rpm w/ the CC set and watch the computer climb like a bear running up hill. The optimum economy with your truck should be at 45 if the ratios are right.

Well, My truck is broke then and thats all there is to it.... I have gotten 520 on a tank one time and thats driving 70 the whole time and was 34.5 gallons to refill (shortbed).

didn't do any calc. but I made it from new orleans to austin on one tank, no stops. big mouths. 77mph pre xzt

well, made a trip up to WI this past weekend to look at a horse and got 21.5 hand calc. 700 miles on one tank at about 33ish gallons. never thought I would see that in my 05. I stayed right around 65. Didnt do 70 much at all, tried to keep it around the 1800-1900 rpm sweet spot.

I to have noticed the better mileage going up and down large hills as opposed to flat, however I am stilled mad because I have 25'000 miles and can only get 17.5 once I saw 18.1 on the same drive. Got worse when I started using PS. Haven't done the vent mod yet.

wait... i post that ive seen over 800 to a tank and people laugh and call me a liar, but you post it and get praise? dam forum politics...

ether that or theres alot of people out there that dont want to admit they ether dont know how to drive or have no throttle control...

What kind of mpg's do you get when you haul?(How much do you haul, usually?)

With my 3 horse I usually get around 12-13 mpg depending on where I haul. Usually around 9-10,000 lbs trailer.
