Finally got fed up with my 1-2 gear vibrations. Tried to band-aid the problem a while back but with no luck. Went to the local driveline shop and got a Spicer 210391-1X carrier bearing and installed it and WOW!! For 7 years my truck had the shakes and after a couple hours of work she's smooth as butter. Why can't Dodge put a beefed up carrier bearing, like the one I just put in, on these trucks. They have a pretty serious driveline but an inferior hanger bearing...makes no sense to me...but hey, they don't pay me to solve their problems.

Just thought I'd throw this info out there for anyone who is in limbo on replacing their shaft with a one-piece.
