filter mider ???

So, as long as the minder is in the green, air flow is not a problem, correct?

on a stock intake yes on a aftermarket intake filter minders are worthless
BTW if your truck is modded then it will probably suck it down sooner

x2... even a knowledgeable dodge tech will tell you it is not the way to gauge filter performance or replacement needs. with stock box on it will hardly ever move and with an aftermarket kit on it can get sucked down quickly because of something called the venturi effect.

Stock filter was new at 25k miles and the minder pulled in to about 1/3 of the green in about two weeks. Looked at filter and tapped some dust out of it and put it back in. About one week later the indicator was back to 1/3 in the green. Repeat, and the same thing again. ??????????? Filter still looks clean and only has aprox. 10K miles on it now. Still running about 1/3 in the green. Is this normal ??

Yes, it is normal. The filter minder doesn't read in a linear scale for filter life. It may not move for a very long time and then the filter starts to clog and it will start to move. You should reset it at oil changes and it should move back to its previous reading shortly after using the truck at a good load. It only measures the maximum restriction encountered. It can get pulled into the red by snow or rainy conditions. The filter manufacturers say to go by them and they are a good way to judge filter life.

I agree on a stock truck.... soon as you mod your truck or air box or drop in filter it is not going to tell you much at all.
filter minders are worthless on moded truck. IMHO
