I need the Cummins part number for the plastic filter housing cover. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks!

I don't have the Cummins part number. I had to buy mine from Dodge.

Did someone blow one up trying to force feed a CP3 ?

I was just WAITING for Superduty to spot this. I could have asked, but I knew he'd have more fun doing it than I would have!

Geno's offers a chrome version of the cover. Also has a tap for fuel pressure.

Just curious. What do you do when it's time to change the filter using that billit lid. Does it ruin your plastic line taking it apart so many time's. Just wondering.

What plastic line are you talking about??? The lid just screws on like the stock one does. I unhook my FP sender wires and unscrew it. No fuss. No muss..

You obviously have an electric fp gauge then. I have a mechanical with a plastic line.

use a hydraulic quick connect fitting... they work well, snap apart quickly and seal at both ends [maintaining your prime in the line]...

something like these...
