a few questions.

A couple of questions and points to make.

1 How much flow and or PSI does the CP3 need to work? Anyone actually have the spec sheet on it?
2. What is the actual fuel flow and pressure suppose to be on the filter mounted pumps and now the in tank pump?
3. Would a 5psi pump with a 72gph flow work.

Further to threads before about un plugged fuel tank vents. I have a roll over valve mounted on the the tank that has been open to the atmoshpere for some time now. It is wet with fuel around it and allows air flow both ways. Does any one know where this missing line is suppose to run to. On a gas engine it is hooked into the emissions system. ANy help would be great.

Their are pics in my profile that shows the roll over valve.

Any help would be great guys.

Cheers

Here we go again.

As far as the vent, Chrysler's fix is just a peice of 6" fuel line attached to the fitting. Other guy's are making it alot longer and puting a small filter in the end to help keep dirt out.

What do you mean here we go again.

Honestly I hate it when some one responds like that. I understand that their is alot of miffed people about what has been posted by SD and others here.
As I see it the more info we have the better.
I am enquiring to fuel flows and pressures due to the fact that maybe some one here knows them or has the flow charts. It seems that on the net very little info to this is out their.

I like reading SD's post's as it was informative. I also liked most of the responses. That untill he was pushed and pushed by people. That is when the post got negative on both sides. Sorry I am neither a supporter nor against what has been said.

I need fact's it seems that Chrysler is putting the blame on fuel tank contamination on the owner of the vehicle and where they purchase fuel. Not the fact that they them selves have left Roll over valves open to the air, and fuel tank vent lines the same.
If any one has any FACTS to say about what I originally posted then please do so. A picture from an 05 of their vent lines would be great, The local dealership has fender liners on all theirs so looking at that area is kinda hard.

I have enjoyed reading the articles here and also participating. To have another Oh here we go again comment, shows the stubborness of others to actually listen and imput into positive situations on here.

I didnt mean to go off on a rant here, I read this first thing this morning and it put me in a bad mood.

Cheers all. Hoep you have a great Saturday

Here's a pic of Chrysler's offical fix. I ordered it from them just to see what it was, all though I knew it was just a 1/4" hose. It's 8" long.

As Superduty would say, "read all the post's, the info is there." I'm not miffed at Superduty or any body. I'm just tired of reading 9,000 DIFFERANT post's about the same thing. What I meant was, here we go again with another thread where the info's all ready there. If I'm wrong about that, then I appologize. As far as putting you in a bad mood, good, that make's us even.

I've been thinking about the above post's. Truthfully, I got defensive from being ranted on, and replied the way I did. That's not what I meant at all. So I asked myself what was I thinking when I typed here we go again. And what I really was thinking was,,,here we go again with the arguing back and forth about Superduty. Nothing more, nothing less. I have no opion one way or the other about his post's.

So you sir, read something way more into it it than was there. And,,,,here we go again,,,it's started.

Yeah he did, but in a nice way. I hear large amounts of alcohol will help heal your wounds. Just don't forget the DD.

03, its a SWAG as far as the flow that is needed. The Cummins documentation states "enough to supply the IP". Best guess would be around 40-50 gph on a stock system, more if you bomb it. If the pump in question can hold at least 10 psi all the time it would probably be adequate. Welcome to the twilight zone.
