factory exhaust brake
I agree,
Really like has been said, only guys with the problems tend to check in. If you got it, use it. It really made my last trip from Alaska down to Illinois enjoyable. Nothing like having control over your trailer heading down 9% grades. That "pucker" factor was gone.

You guys that mentioned problems what was the problem and what was the damage?
Where does the wireing tap into the TPS? Also when the clutch is in the brake should shut off?

I paid just under $1000 for the Jacobs brake and installed it myself. This was less expensive than any BD or Pac brake pricing I could find. While there might be concerns with the vacuum pump failing, a replacement is just over $100.
My seat of the pants tells me the Pac brake has more braking than the Jacobs-Mopar/Cummins, but I am pleased so far with my Jacobs.
Good Luck...

I installed my PacBrake PRXB EB two years ago and really enjoy it. Haven't had any problems. I think the key too any EB not sticking is to use it. I leave mine turned on 99.9% of the time. I only lube it 1-2 times a year.
