Exhaust and chip question...

A few quick questions and yes I searched...

Any suggestions on an exhaust that won't brake the bank and will not have that horrible drone? I was thinking about the banks but I am looking for any suggestions.

The other question is does anyone have a good recomendation for a chip/programmer. I'm just looking for a little extra umf when towing but I don't want to stress out the stock turbo or lift pump. I know some people suggested the quadzilla xzt.

Lastly, does anyone know the stock bost pressure produced? Trying to figure out which guage to order.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

HorseHauler05,
Please fill out your signature and let everyone know what rig you have and, if any mods.

On my 2003 I use an Edge EZ when towing. Its relatively inexpensive, easy to install/uninstall, and it works. I leave it in the #3 setting and it doesn't push the Bosch pump above the max Dodge has set for it....sorry but I don't know what they are. I do remember that it can pump at a dramatically higher pressure that it will in my rig at this setting.

I've seen my turbo spike 35 psi but generally runs 30 psi at WOT (both before and after laoding Smarty REVO on level 1).

If your not looking for stainless exhaust system, FBD (Farm Boys Diesel) makes a good 5'" system that doesn't break the bank. No drone so far, highest speed has been 85. I haven't pulled the camper since I installed it so I'm not sure about a heavy load.

Thanks for the input. You'd be surprised about the search. I out in so many searches to try and find the stock boost. As for the programers, yes there was a ton of stuff in the search but as you said its a matter of money and preference. I just didn't want to stress the lift pump or the turbo. Can't afford to fix em after a new abs sensor, all new tie rods and rear brakes! I feel bad for people who pay the dealer to do this work.

yeah i can't believe people pay dealers to get stuff done, i just did my rear brakes, tie rods, leveling kit, stabilizer shock, etc. i wouldn't have any cash if i pay somebody to do it all!!!
