The flash is for the 6spd, yet it includes improved Auto shifting?

I don't know???
I have only herd of the 6-speeds having the long crank time??

Yeah, I saw that listed on the TSB, and couldn't quite make heads or tails (cures long cranking on 6 speed and improves shifting on the auto).

Anyway, he's got the long crank times in cold temps, so I would think the reflash would be worth stopping by the dealership for.

i used to have this problem and was thinking about asking for the reflash at the dealership but i have been able to not have it happen by adjusting how i start my truck
as soon as the grid heater turns of i dont crank it i listen for the elec fuel pump to stop whinning.....gotta listen hard for it but as soon as it stops it always fires up.
i know it adds a few second of you just sitting there and waiting to start your truck but in my opinion its no worse than the old internationals i used to drive that you would have to wait for all the guages to cycle thru before you could start it
