Engine warranty

Does anyone know if the engine warranty covers the tach. Mine bounces all over the place and most of the time it doesn't read a thing until I get over 1200 rpms.

No it doesn't. I take it you are over 36K miles? I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but the tach has to be replaced with the rest of the cluster. They can't change the tach alone. The good news is the job doesn't take a bunch of time to do.

Sorry, it doesn't cover it. It is only covered by the 3 year / 36 k warranty.

Had my tac and speedo do the same thing in a 04 chevy 1500. They had to replace the entire cluster.

If I recall correctly it was about $650 to have it replaced. Would assume its probably similar in this case.
