Any one know if gaskets are covered under the engine warranty? Looks like my oil pan gasket is leaking i still have lots of engine warranty left.<br><br> rob

 

I would think so. Give'm a call and ask.

 

It's covered. Hers goes in the first of next week for the same thing.

 

Just a thought but it might be your overflow bottle and not your pan gasket.

 

It's covered, but personally I would get under it and tighten all of the pan bolts myself, clean everything off and see if it is still leaking. I did this with my 2000 and it no longer leaked. You don't want to know what they have to do to take the pan off and reseal. Lets put it this way you just don't want some local Dodge mechanic doing this unless it is really needed.

 

I might be wrong but I think there is a tsb on leaking oil pans.
