Truck runs great at idle or normal driving, except when I really step on the throttle. It then bogs down like it has ran out of gas, but will go back to normal when I let off.
I just changed the lift pump and filter, but that did not seem to help.

Truck has 120k miles.


Any ideas please?

 

Just checked the codes and there is a P2509 and a P0837 code.

 

Take the Edge box off and see how it runs.

 

I'm on my phone now so I don't have the list of codes but my buddies 03 with 115k miles was doing the same thing and his throttle position sensor ( by the pedal I think) was bad and after replacing it, the truck runs great again.

 

Going to remove the Edge this afternoon to narrow it down.
