Lets see the OCI is 3k to 5k I use rotella 10-40 wt, Replaced injecters at 338k, when mine went out it just died at the fuel pump and would not start. I did notice that my mileage increased to 13MPG pulling 51ft wedge with three car on comming out of cal. Dealer blocked off tank return truck started right up,I guess when they go out it sends fuel back to tank. Plan on keeping till it dies. OCI on mine it's done by mileage.

61,200 miles and 1331 hours. 45.9 MPH average. Seems higher that most of you all. It's mostly used now for towing my trailer on the freeway. No in town driving.

The thread that keeps on giving..
This is extremely limited data. How far has it gone in miles and how long has it run?
Idle time is an assumption. What if it was driven slowly? What if it was only driven to the dragstrip or sled pulls on weekends? What if it cruised at 90mph all day long with a major trailer?
15 years ago at CAT we had ECMs that would give us true idle hours. Time at no load under 1000 rpm, 0 mph. And we could find the % time spent at each 100 rpm increment and % load and total fuel use over life. My service department rejected ring and liner warranty if engine was prematurely worn and over idled.
So, I realize we are talking about what we can extract from the dash display, BUT is there more and better data held by the ECM? If so How do we get to read it??
