Engine doesn’t want to start when cold “63 degrees”

So this morning when I went to get breakfast for my kids truck started up like normal. I drove about 3/4 of a mile to the drive through, I shut down the engine because the person taking my order couldn’t hear me over the engine 😜. Then I cranked it over to start it up and it started up then died. It had done this other times, usually when the temperature is about 60’s (I live in California so it doesnt get much colder). Usually I turn the ignition on and wait to hear till the pump stops then I crank and it starts without a problem. This time that was not the case. I had to push it out of the way. I tried several times to start it up but nothing finally I gave up and called AAA. By this time it was about 45minutes later and tried one more time and the truck started. Does anyone have any ideas as to what should I check?

Sorry for for the long read I just figure the more details the better. Also it’s a 07 24v, 2 months ago I had the tranny rebuilt. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated
