Electric cooling fans?

Does any one make electric fans for cooling the truck versus the mechanical fan?

The stock fan works so well there's no need for one... Besides, there's not much room for one up front with that intercooler up there.......

From: I'll look into that!
Might make the intercooler more efficient though

I think you might have trouble getting an electric fan that will pull as much air as the mechanical fan. It would be a good supplimental as a pusher (in front of the cooling blocks) coupled with the mechancial.
The problem is an electric would need a huge motor to get enough flow to work as a primary fan.

Electric pusher fan will help with the A/C at idle but that's about it.

If I did it I would just do it to add an additional fan. The stock fan is awesome when it's on..

you could always mount the fan between the rad and I/C, there is 3-4" of space there. but I don't think it is necessary with the factory setup even @ idle.

I don't have a colling problem, it is jsut that my mechanical fan stays on a lot...even with no A/C. Dealer replacved the clutch for the fan...but nothing has changed.
