EGR Delete

I see a lot of post on the new trucks and how this help MPG. Can you delete on earlier models?

The 5.9 Cummins does not have EGR equipment, so there is nothing to delete.

This only applies to the Jan07 and newer 6.7 liter Cummins trucks.

I thought the Exhaust gas recurculation was the reason the oil turns black almost instantly?
