Economy setting Smarty and Mechanical pump cam?

I have done quite a bit of searching for info on offroad application programming that would emulate a 160hp/400tq cummins 5.9 12V, with everything from single injection event to VE pump type timing adv/retard... I know I know why go backwards but the goal would be where hundreds of thousands of hours would be run without rebuild (low wear) and fuel economy maxed without concern for rattling sound...
