Early build 05

Looking at an early build 05, October 04 build date. Does this truck have a cat, or no cat like the 04's. Sort of like the early 07's don't have the 6.7L but the old reliable 5.9L.

I looked under truck, but don't know if it is a resonator or cat. It is located about even with the door jam between the front and rear doors. The rest of the exhaust is stock with stock muffler.

Thanks,

Jim

It's a cat.

Check the charge-air cooler; early '05s came with plastic endtanks (Dodge )

Plan on replacing the CAC at some point - they tend to blow the plastic end tanks.
