Dyno (is it risky)

what is the risk factor in performing a dyno test on my truck? i would like to know the hp & tq of my trk but don't want to destroy it in finding out.
your input would be appreciated. thx!

No more than punching the throttle going down the street. No airflow across the intercooler and such will result in a little less power though.

I don't see any risk... just watch your gauges and make sure that you do not go over your trucks limits.

Now, if you do this....

Lots of fun. I still can't believe that we did that, but if there was anyone spraying and holding, those two were the best qualified...

So what was your dyno number before you sprayed?

Here's the sheet...

1 Edge only, no MP-8.
2 MP-8
3 Nos sprayed into the bottom of the air filter
4 Nos sprayed directly
