When I bought my 03 it had 265's all season E rated tires on it. No rubbing. I think it depends more on the tire. A mud tire may rub where as an a/t or all season most likely won't.

Yes, Load range D.

Same load capacity + less psi = more comfortable ride.

I have had better luck with load range D tires than i have with E's anyway. I just like them.

They are about 1/4-1/2" shorter.Thats the only thing I don't like about them.We really need a 255/80/17 to hit the market. This size is listed as a soon to be released for the new bfg km2's in an E load range.

Heres some pics with 265's.The truck has a leveling kit and airbags in the rear so the overall heigth is increased. A little more tire height to help fill up the fender well would be nice.

It all depends on the tire and how the truck is loaded.

The Bridgestone Duravis I have on mine don't touch and have ~1/4"-3/8" gap w/ 3200lb camper loaded in the bed.

Is the bfg a street tread or a all terrain?

They are a mud terrain.I haven't seen any mention on that size in an all terrain.
