Contact JR at lennystahl@motorsport-tech.com. He built my 2 inch set for my '02 for $90 each. They work great and I haven't had any problems with them. He is a custom machine shop so I'm sure they can make them. Tell him Jory in Oklahoma sent you, maybe he'll remember doing mine back in May.

I'm assuming you are talking about wheel spacers and not some other spacer, and I am also assuming that you know 2 inch is the minimum you can space due to the factory lugs. I really need a set of 1 inch spacers, it would look better with 285's, but you'd have to switch out the factory lugs and I'm not-a-gonna do it. I'm not sold on these big honkin' tires yet, they kill power and economy.

You won't have 16 inch wheels, but here's how mine look for reference.

4x4 try some 305s, they may look better and wont hurt power that much more, I plan on runnin 315s when these where out.

I got my spacers from arrowcraft.com. Top notch product and service. I think shippin and everthing was in the 230-250 range. That included 32 lugnuts and a remming bit.

You will have to bore out the outside wheels for bigger lugs cause it changes the truck from hubcentric to lugcentric. I got about 25-28K on mine with zero probs and I tow up to about 20K lbs.

I almost got aluminum and I am glad I passed, the pair weighed 31lbs. they are solid steel.

I didn't think you could mount 305s on factory rims, wouldn't they be too narrow for the tire? Heck, these 285's are too narrow actually, well, not recommended by the tire manufacturer, but who listens to them, right? Did you mean bore the outside wheel for the tapered lugs, not the inside? That confused me. The inside wheel should still be hub centered, right? I just hate reaming anything so I can't go back to stock. If anything, I'll go slimmer to cut wind resistance and rolling resistance and get some milage back. Thanks though.

I was thinking of going with 285's on my 04... Are you saying that you should go with a 1 inch wheel spacer because it would look better, or what would the difference be?

You will probably need a spacer of some kind just to dual up 285's, I did, but a 2 inch spacer, the min you can buy without changing the factory lug bolts, is just too much and is on the brink of looking dumb. But....the mud cleans out of them reall well! It rained last night so I got to pull my stock trailer all around in the mud. It was a good time! I don't know what the offset of the rims are on an 04.

Right now my truck looks like a 2wd and it's driving me crazy... I'm going back home to New Mexico and I'll be on dirt roads 60% of the time and on the ranch I'll need my ground clearance, so that's why I'm looking at the 285's

Let me try and explain a little better.

They send a reaming bit (I had never heard of one) and it is dummy proof.

Yes the inside is still hubcentric but the outside is now lubcentric. After a least 20k miles I have no issurs what so ever with vibration, or anything else. I figure if I need to go back to stock I can take my spare wheel, use it, and then buy another one somewhere. How much can a black steel wheel cost.

Yes 305s are too wide for factory rims, so are 315s and I know several people runnin them as well as 35x12.50s on factory rims. Like you said 285s are technicaly too wide as well but not as bad as the others. After 20K on my tires they seem to be wearing very well, I expect to get another 15 or so out of em. I cant tell the centers are wearin at all but I would think that would be the first place to show wear. I dont think you can get dually wheels much wider than factory so if you wanna run big tires I guess you gotta make some sacrifices.

If I left any questions unanswered let me know and I will see what I can do.

315's

So could I run 315's with a 2" spacer? One more question. I have an 07 3500. Which series Cummins do I have. I know its the 5.9, but I did'nt know if they were like GM and every year was a little different. Thanks.

Yes 315s will fit with a 2" spacer, that is what I would have run but my tires now are only .6"s shorter and cost me 960 delevered so I couldnt pass that up. As far as what series I have no idea, but welcome to the forum and go ahead and fill out your sig too.

Wap is right, arrowcraft is a top notch product. I used them for a while before getting 19.5's.
