This is drivin me nuts, I gotta ask!!
Get out of the City a few miles and the lots out there will have more manual transmissions. The automatics won't hold up pulling loads of horses and cattle and us county boys know that. I got all my trucks off the lot with a manual transmission. I won't even look at a truck with an automatic.
Went to a lot the other day in the city. They had 4 duallies. One was an auto. That was in VA. In all the trucks I saw in SC I only saw 2 6 spds in the last 2 years. It is all regional and what the dealer feels like ordering.
Please don't tell my truck it can only do about 80,
I was up to 100 on my way home the day I bought it and had to hit the brakes cause traffic slowed me down. My speed was still going up when I hit the brakes.

Didn't read many of the replies but, I ordered mine and it just so happened they had one exactly like it on the lot.
Like many, I wanted the NV5600 with single plate clutch before the G56 dual mass flywheel came out. I don't mind the G56, but the gearing is like the NV with a 4.10 and I only tow a 12k trailer. I wanted better hwy fuel economy (at speeds around 80mph). I am not a fan of the self adjusting clutch.

The ironic thing.... my Neon is a 5 speed! bought it used off the lot like that, man what I would to to change that to an auto, and my truck to have 3 pedals on the floor! But man, I'd never drive the car again!
