door locks acting stupid

Earlier this week I went out to my truck and opened the back door to put something away and I heard the doors lock. At first I thought maybe I bumped the lock switch until I realized there is no switch on the back doors. After about 5 seconds it did it again. I listened to it for about a minute and it tried to lock itself about 6 or 7 times. This went on for about 2 or 3 days. Sometimes unlocking and other times locking. It seems to of went away for now but a couple weeks ago I remember getting locked out of my truck and I thought maybe I Locked the doors on accident out of habit. Now I think the truck did it itself. It was raining that day but the windows were up so I dont think the switches got wet. Is it possible my batteries are getting week in my key fob and making it act stupid? Thanks in advance.

My first thought was the key fob. I would start there.

Check the wires between the door and the cab. I had on broken and 2 that were skinned and 1/2 of the strands broken.
