does anyone know?????
The circuit breakers are self resetting. If one is blown, it will come back on when it cools down. I would say to start looking for the larger fuses in the PDC, and then possibly the ignition switch area. It gives the power to the switches.
ok so i already checked all of the fuses in the fuse box under the hood(pdc, i will start using that acronym now) and all of them check out good i tested them with the volt meter and all checked out good..... so the ignition what exactly do i have to check
Like I said before....the circuit breakers are self resetting. If you had a direct short to ground, there would be smoke every time the circuit breaker would try to reset! I doubt that is the problem. I would look in the ignition switch area next, or wherever you made the connections for your guages. If you used a wire tap product, I've seen those things cut the wire in half. Otherwise look at the wires coming out of the ignition switch. I'll get the wire diagram for ya in a minute.
Hello,
I assume you meant an Ohm meter. Unless you connected each fuse to a powered circuit.

Just a note on fuses. It is best to remove a fuse and check continuity. There are occasions that a back feed in circuits makes a fuse appear good with just a voltage check. One of my techs once made a $10,000 charter service call after the junior in the field insisted he removed it to test.
I'm sure you are OK but finding out later is seriously annoying
