I was pretty sure that all 3rd gen trucks have the cp3.. the local dodge parts guy said that isnt true... well.. I wanted to see what you all had to say.. I dont trust a guy who also says that they didnt put a 47re in any 3rd gens... I bought an early 03 and was just curious.

To my knowledge the early 03 trucks had standard output engines with the
47re, and the late 03 with the 305hp engine came with the 48re.

Tell him to quit drinking so much bong water. The 03 model year trucks had Common Rail fuel with Cp3 Injection pumps. I have read many times that the 47re was used in some 03's as well. Tell him to do some actual research and stop spreading such propaganda.

 

Some of these lot monkey's have no freak clue on what they are selling. Maybe a little training would help. IMOP

 

The new body style all have Cp3's or a P-Pump but thats not from the factory. hahaha othat means th 03 would be that. I have yet to see a 03 24v with a VP44. from what i have seen and been told i am sure they stopped that old body style in 02 along with that 24v with the vp44. I have only heard of the SO common rail and HO common rail being the 2 types of different trucks made in 03 that is if they are even that different after all. Just sounds like he needs a little help on distinguishing his years. according to him it probly has brand new spark plugs too. hahaha

 

And you need some new plug wires for your P7100 on your CR engine because it idles funny. LOL
