adjustable control arms are supposed to be for lifts that have caused your axle to be pulled back, so that it is no longer centered and can cause alignment and other wear and handling issues. if you push your axle out just to clear bigger tires, you can run into handling problems like bump steer. you'll also end up spending almost as much $$$ as you would getting a reasonably priced set of wheels with proper b/s and offset, and with the wheels, you'll be sure to fix the problem without causing another one.

I ordered custom upper and lower control arms from Topguncustomz, You tell them how much lift you have in front and they send you the correct length control arms to keep your axle centered in the wheel well. But then again I went with the H2's also.

Good luck on this one, I think your only option would be more lift or new wheels unless you are willing to trim.

How much did Topguncustomz charge you? And how much lift do you have?

Thanks.

On ebay it was 240 shipped, I installed the Kore Recon system which is 3" in the front. They can make them for lifts from 1" up to 8", with anything over 8 they recommend the long arm upgrade.

So, what are the H2 wheels' specs? Is there not a similar wheel out there? I'm looking into putting 35s on my new truck, but want to do it right the first time.

17x8.5 with 5.5" b.s.

you can typically find take offs from h2s on your local craigslist.org site. I even have a second set that I have plans on using on another project, I think... project seem to change quite rapidly, lol

Yeah seems like anything from 5.5-6 on the backspacing is what works on 2-3 inch lifts and 35's. KMC makes some wheels in 5.7 which I think is ideal BS, that's what I use... No rubs even on stock suspension with 315's.

Hope that helps.

depends on how you achieve the lift?? I put the Kore Recon on which is 3 in front and 1 in back and everything clears perfect.

i see you are running h2 wheels, from what i've heard that is the best back spacing for ours trucks........... mine however is a different situation, my tires are out about an extra 2 inches or so with my 4.5 backspacing on my "great" new wheels. I love the way it looks and handles, I think I would go a little higher if it would clear. The people on here are way more informative than the people that are selling the products - for the most part - ....... Did you grill come blacked out or did you paint or coat it??????? Did the custom control arms come with the Kore kit???

Menzy, a few memebers give you the right answer, your 4.5 wheels are just to much to the outside without a giant lift.
Here you go 35"s with leveling kit and a 5.5 back-space.

The next one is a 4.5" lift and would not work unless a 5.5 back-space with a 9" wide wheel.

Those control arms really did a good job centering that axle. Nice truck, I'd hit those hubs with some gloss black paint like por15 for a good look.

The Control arms I got from Topguncustomz. I'm still trying to decide what to do about the center caps, I may use my stockers or paint the hub like you said.

I'd paint the hubs and throw a ranch hand up front.
