De-tuning software for the 600?

With all the low mileage reports for the 600, I am wondering if an aftermarket company will make some CPU mods to lower the power and raise the mileage of the 600. As cool as it is to have an engine as powerful as the 600, the mileage reports are really disappointing. Anyone think this is a possibility?

Surrrre they will. I'll give you a good deal on my old '94. 160hp with 21 to 26 mpg solo depending on speed. (usauly under 80)
You will have to wait till my 04.5 comes in. I'll take 20% less mpg for 100% more power and I so will most people I know. I think we have to give the 04.5 a chance to break in.

Started out with 14.7 to 15.1 now over head is between 17.1 to 17.6 mpg. I found my sweet spot at 1800 to 1850 rpm and I have less than 3500 miles on my truck. I'm very happy with mine so far.
