Cruise control keeps disengaging

04 3500, just had the engine rebuilt and now the cruise doesn't work right. I'll be calling the shop tomorrow. I paid way too much to have to put up with this. I can set the cruise and it kicks off within 30 seconds or so, can't get it to set again until you cycle the key again. any ideas?

Vaccum pump lines are chaffed and are leaking. Vaccum pump is behind the passenger battery. Trace the black poly line to under the cowl panel where the vaccum tank is and over to the underneath side of the drivers side battery where the dash pot is.

I've been using the search button on this one and am pretty sure you're right. I guess I'll work on that after I replace a rear caliper and pads. Passenger side is hanging up a little bit. man, I wish I had a garage!

Yep, those vacuum lines crack very easy. They may look intact, sometimes they are broken in half and still look good ! Run every inch.
