Three times in recent weeks I've had similar incidents happen. After hitting the "cancel" button to release the cruise control 1) there is either no throttle response, or very little response, 2) the CEL comes on, 3) after a feseconds throttle control returns to normal. Until the next restart I'm unable to re-engage the cruise control.

In each instance the CEL has shut off after three ingition cycles, so I guess the problem has not persisted. My concern, of course, is what caused it to begin with, and will it develope into a serious condition later.

I checked the codes by cycling the ignition switch three times and it showed the following codes:
• P0581 Low Voltage Detected At The Speed Control Switch
• P2121 APPS Conformance Error
• P2122 Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch D Circuit Low Input

Hopefully someone can give me some advice or point me in the right direction on how to correct this situation. Thanks for any responses.
