Question Cruise control

Does anyone have trouble with their cruise control fluctuating ? Mine has a lead lag of up to 5 MPH on hills. And on the flats I can be cruising 70 MPH using the foot throttle hit the set on the cruise and it will accelerate up to 75 before settling back to 70. Dealer has no idea??? 05 3500 610

I set mine and it hold the speed exactly. We don't have large hills in my area, but the speed control will hold the speed when going up a highway overpass. Of course, if I'm towing a load, the speed may drop off if maximum throttle ins't enough to haul the load up the incline. If the dealer can't figure it out, I'd find another dealer.

My wife's Intrepid does this and it's annoying. Luckily my Ram doesn't.

mine will overshoot if I am still accelerating when I engage the cruise. otherwise it won't do it.

Mine does it when I am holding a steady speed. And it is annoying.
