Yep it's official, I was doing some service wok on the truck over the weekend.
Looks like I'll be taking i back to have the crank seal changed fo thethird time.
What gives?

Any vibrations? Have them check the play in the crankshaft. Sounds like someone doesnt know how to install it properly, the crank has a bad sealing surface, or too much play in the crankshaft. Maybe take it to a different dealer this time?
have them install the one with the wear sleeve. or be sure to tell them that the spot on the crank where the seal sits must be free of oil before the install, the seal is teflon impregnated and needs to transfer it to the crank, if oil is present it wont seal.

Make sure they check for any damage to the crankshaft machined surface. I would put some dye in oil and drive it for a day then check to make sure seal is what's leaking. Good Luck
I seem to remember some people having issues with a plastic sealing plug on the timing cover leaking and looking like a crank seal leak, I think there may even be an updated sealing plug but am not 100% sure, may want to check it anyways to be sure....
