CP3 question

Under the CP3 and above the power steering pump there is a black solenoid looking thing with a harness on it. What is this, I am assuming it's fuel related. This harness always seems to be wet on my truck. -Eric

Sounds like a FCA Fuel Control Actuator . I just ordered a new one for my truck. $140 new.

What he said. Basically, it's an electric fuel regulator.

Just to make sure we are talking about the same part, this can really only be seen from under the truck and not the silver looking solenoid you can see from the top right? Are these things known to leak with high mileage? Thanks for the input!

FCA is on the back of the CP3 about the middle of the pump, if what your looking at is under the CP3 and can only be seen from there its not the FCA.

The CPS harness and fan control harness run thru that area but don't remember anything else there.

If its wet form fuel its due to the CP3 do its usual seeping routine.
